There is a Major Servitor named Simiks-3 that you’ll want to hit hard and fast since it will regen the health of the Dregs and Vandals that are also trying to kill you. You need to defeat the Fallen in this location. Head off to the left and go through the door to reach the Hall of Whispers. Exit at the back of the room to reach the Ishtar Commons where you’ll find Vex and Fallen battling here as well. As usual in this situation, allow the sides to whittle each other down a bit then finish them both off for the most experience. Fallen and Vex are battling out here the Fallen just don’t get along with anyone it seems.

This is a new currency that was introduced ahead of the Exotic Archive in Season of Arrivals. All legendary armour requires one Ascendent Shard to masterwork it, all Exotic armour requires three. Others will have to purchased from Banshee-44 in the Tower or earned through (Grand)master Nightfalls. A handful can be earned each season through seasonal progression. This is one of the rarest and most most expensive materials in the game. Like Legendary Shards these are primarily used for upgrading/masterworking weapons and armour. They can also drop from certain higher level activities such as the Nightfall. These can either be purchased from Banshee-44 in the Tower or Spider on the Tangled Shore.

Glimmer is the most basic currency in Destiny universe. This guide is accurate as of the time of writing and whilst I will update it as additional items are added to the Exotic Archive the guide may not be upto date if you’re looking at it at the start of any new season after Chosen. Located in the Tower between the two Vault terminals the Exotic Archive allows you to purchase a selection of items that can no longer be acquired through their original questlines for a variety of in-game currencies.
The Exotic Archive is a new vendor that was initially added to the game as part of the Beyond Light expansion.
